Rules

No Tobacco use is permitted inside The Lake House – designated Tobacco use areas are on the Lake Side Deck or during rainy weather days – the Front Porch.

The Lake House will not tolerate Acts of Violence against any staff member or resident.

The Lake House does not allow residents to possess firearms at any time on property.

The Lake House does not allow possession or use of illegal drugs at any time by any residents, guest, or staff members.

The Lake House does not allow residents to possess alcohol.

The Lake House "Meal, Snack and Afternoon Tea" times are posted in the kitchen.

The Lake House provides a computer with Internet access for resident use.

The Lake House provides laundry time to each resident and is posted in the laundry room; assistance with laundry is available upon request.

The Lake House provides use of phone with local and long distance service. Residents may have their own phone installed in their room at their own expense.

In efforts to ensure the safety and privacy of your family member/friend or loved one - all Guests will be asked to show ID and to sign in at time of arrival and sign out upon leaving the property.

The Lake House visitation hours are from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. everyday.

The Lake House provides assistance with personal mail upon request.

The Lake House provides weekly cleaning services and linen changes – with resident present.

The Lake House monitors personal hygiene and grooming.

The Lake House TV Volume Rules is at the discretion of staff member on duty to determine appropriate noise level.

The Lake House does not allow rude conduct or profanity.

Transportation Service Arrangement Procedures – The Lake House does not provide transportation to residents for medical appointments, but will assist residents in arrangement of transportation from Taxi Cab Services, Volunteer Organizations, Carpooling and Church Services.

The Lake House at Legion Lake cannot provide nursing or other medical services or admit and retain residents who need continuous medical or nursing care.

The resident has the responsibility to provide to The Lake House the best of his/her knowledge accurate complete information about matters relating to health and personal care assistance needs.

The resident is responsible for being respectful of the property of others and of The Lake House.

The resident is responsible for being considerate of the rights of other residents and The Lake House personnel for assisting in the control of noise and number of visitors.

The resident is responsible for reporting unexpected changes in his/her condition to their responsible health care medical provider and the Administrator of The Lake House.
